"We can do hard things!"
Three years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease. After insubordinate amounts of pain and suffering, today I stand to share a worldwide message that healing is possible! Throughout my journey, with the help of my determined and supportive parents, and a loving God that guided my healing journey, I learned that my body is capable of healing itself, by itself. Now I stand and share my story with you in hopes to bring hope for healing to those who feel like all is lost. There is hope and happiness ahead.
Hi There! Nice to Meet You!I'm Chronically Claire - Lyme disease warrior, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, woman farmer, baker, singer, writer, blogger, business woman, and so much more! I take pride in my identity as a daughter of God, and I have a passion for helping others and infusing love into everything I do. I also have a passion for health and wellness and I believe that as human beings, our bodies have the power to heal themselves. I have a deep love for food, goats, and wholesome laughter. I seek to find beauty in the world around me, and I seek to continuously find joy and then share that joy with those around me, despite how difficult my outer circumstances may be. I hope that as I share my story and knowledge with you, I can bring hope for healing and hope for a brighter future ahead!

Chronically DeliciousMy love and passion for food, and my quest to only consume the most nutrient dense food I can find is manifested through this blog! I love baking, cooking, and eating all kinds of the most nutritious and delicious food! This blog will feature all of my favorite tried and proven recipes, and all recipes published will be original and made with the most fresh and organic ingredients. Our gift-shop is all about trading beauty for ashes. I seek to further my gift shop because I believe that the chronically ill can do anything they set their minds too. I set out to make my dreams happen, and nothing can stop me now. When we pity the ill, we take away their power, but when we realize that they are capable of many great things, we empower them to fulfill their dreams despite their disabilities.

We live in a world that is virally shedding the idea that if someone is sick, the BEST call to action is to stay away from them as far as you can. Not only is this completely against Christ's teachings, but it naturally shatters the human heart and allows cold blood to run through the veins of many people who are DESPERATE for someone to instill love, hope, or peace in them. Lyme disease taught me something different than this world philosophy about people and love. And despite the cries for distance and shallow forms of "love," I would highly encourage you to apply the healing balm of FAITH combined with ACTION towards "the needy people" that you know. |
"If you're having a hard time making or keeping friends, wait patiently on the Lord. I am sure that He is preparing people for you that will be your people and will love you no matter your illness or disability." Q&A with my best friend, Zach, about how we manage and maintain our unique friendship through chronic illness and disability! Thanks for submitting all of your questions! |
This past week, the Utah Area Authorities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints sent us all an email stating that they are now asking us all to “wear face coverings when in public,” and this short statement has left Utahns and other members of our church in an uproar. Members who don’t want to wear masks are being ridiculed and blamed for further spread of COVID19, and members who are devoted mask-wearers are now pointing fingers and accusing non-mask wearers of the choice to not wear a mask as being immoral, or breaking covenants because we’re not being obedient to this new invitation for all to wear a mask. The overall feel of social media is now angry and accusatory because supposedly, our safety is being threatened if we don’t all comply with wearing a mask. |

My family is a HUGE fan of Mexican food! Tacos, burritos, and enchiladas are a staple at my house, but every now and again it's nice to have something different, and so the Mexican Italian Casserole was born! This casserole is super versatile, meaning that if you're gluten free or you would rather have rice instead of pasta, you can easily do so. This recipe is also super simple, and completely organic for all of my chronic illness warriors that have sensitive stomachs like I do! So if you're a fan of Mexican... or Italian... than this is the casserole for you! |
This chocolate cake was a hit for my whole family and it's completely organic, refined-sugar free, AND vegan! Yep, that's right! No animal products in this cake! I also have found in my healthy baking pursuit that it's really difficult to make healthy cakes that aren't super dry, but I've FINALLY mastered a refined sugar-free recipe that is super moist and very fudgy on the inside! Even the glaze is sugar free and it adds the final finishing touch to this beautiful cake! I also used cacao powder in this recipe instead of cocoa. Cacao is considered a super food and helps boost your mood and your immune system! Eating chocolate in the right amounts can be good for your body! What a relief!! |
I am so in love with these cookies! Perfect for any holiday or family get together! These cookies are completely sugar free, organic, and free of harmful additives and chemicals. They are made with whole wheat flour and they still melt in your mouth! They're also sweetened with Lakanto Monkfruit sweetener which is full of nutrients and approved for all kinds of healthy diets! |

Every single thing we interact with from the chair you're sitting in to the food you eat has an energy frequency. It's our job to surround ourselves with things, color, people, and experiences that vibrate at high frequency levels that are HEALING. The truth about color is that every color in this world holds a healing frequency within it. Color therapy is a therapy that uses colors and their frequencies to heal us physically and emotionally. It's also known as chromotherapy or color healing.

I've been experimenting with lotion recipes for years now, and THIS ONE is my keeper! It's so hard to find homemade lotions that aren't overly greasy and absorb into your skin easily. But this recipe my friends, is perfect! I use this lotion on my face in the morning and at night. And I use it for dry skin and skin lesions brought on by Lyme. It's very gentle on your skin, and it smells SO GOOD you'll be tempted to eat it! |
