What is the Chronically Care Project?

For the year of 2019 and 2020, Chronically Beautiful gave over 100 handmade fleece blankets to people who suffer from chronic illness. We have been making and giving blankets for the purpose of ministering to the sick and afflicted, and we intend on continuing to bring light and love into the lives of those who are suffering from chronic pain or illness.
In 2020 Chronically Beautiful expanded The Chronically Care Project to be a full care package program for the chronically ill. Since then we have sent over 300 care packages! The majority of care package gifts are handmade by Claire and other beautiful chronic illness warriors all around the world! Other items that are not handmade are donated by many wonderful people who believe in this project and the impact it's making. What Inspired the Chronically Care Project?
The Chronically Care Project exists to promote love and caring towards the community of people who suffer from chronic illness. I personally spent years homebound, in terrible pain due to chronic Lyme disease, endometriosis, and other co-infections that accompany Lyme. I believe that one of the most challenging aspects of illness is the isolation, loneliness, and desperate need to feel like somebody cares about whether or not you wake up the next morning. We were not meant to suffer alone. We were meant to give love and caring to everyone around us, and that fact is what inspires this project.
I want anybody who suffers on such excruciating levels on pain and suffering to know that they're cared about and loved. I may not be able to change the world. I may not be able to send a blanket to every chronic illness warrior across the globe, but what I can do is change one person's world. What I can do is light up at least one person's life, even if it is just for a little while. I want those who wrap themselves in Chronically Beautiful's blankets to feel love and care. I want each item in care packages to radiate the love of Jesus to those who receive.
You are not alone. Your pain is valid. And you are deeply cared about! There is always somebody who cares!

Meet Our Team!
Honestly, The Chronically Care Project has a POWERFUL team of good hearted people who pour their hearts into the items they make and donate. We also have incredible people who aren't seen or mentioned that donate monetarily so we are able to keep this project going. And most importantly, we have God who guides and directs this entire project. If it weren't for Him, this would all be impossible. We have a big team. It's God's team. And we are simply the instruments in His hands.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease when I was 18 years old. Those first few years of chronic illness were the hardest years of my life. I spent my days fighting with my own body, taking treatments, feeling overwhelmingly bored, and drowning in my own loneliness and isolation due to my illness. It's for this reason that The Chronically Care Project was born! Chronic illness is one huge battle that leaks into every aspect of our lives. My mission is to send care packages that are a symbol of hope, love, and care to those who are chronically ill. I POUR my heart into this project. I sew, laser engrave, and craft my heart into every item I make for these boxes in hopes that the people who receive will feel God's love for them within every single item.

Every cent donated to the Chronically Care Project goes a long way! Monetary donations go towards fabric and materials we need to make items for care packages. The majority of monetary donations goes towards shipping charges for the care packages!
